Commander Varos Cloudstrider is the second boss located in The Oculus. He is one of the Azure-Lords of the blue dragonflight and captain of the forces there.
Trivia
- Varos Cloudstrider is the only drakonid in the game to have a last name, additionally his name would more commonly be used by a high elf or blood elf. This has led some players to speculate about whether Varos is a drakonid naturally or a mortal transformed into a drakonid, similar to Wyrmcult Blessed who transform into dragonspawn and (by speculation) Maxnar the Ashmaw who is also a drakonid.

The Dragonblight, also called the Great Dragonblight, is a great dragon graveyard, located in Northrend. The entrance to the nerubian kingdom of Azjol-Nerub can be found in the mid-west part, while the mysterious Wyrmrest Temple resides in the middle. The magnataur village of Bloodmar lies here also, as well as the ruined taunka capital of Icemist Village, and the nerubian conclave of Sundered Monolith. The Forsaken base of Venomspite, as well as the Human stronghold of Wintergarde Keep are located to the east. The Scourge citadel of Naxxramas is floating in the skies above Wintergarde.
The bones are zealously guarded by Malygos and his blue dragonflight, but the rise of the Lich King and the Scourge allowed the undead to claim many sets of bones from the graveyard and use them to create frost wyrms for the Scourge forces. The Dragonblight was also the home of the first humans to fall victim to the Plague.

Gruul the Dragonkiller is the gronn overlord of the ogres of Outland, ruling with an iron fist. He earned his “nom de guerre” (and the emnity of Sabellian) after slaughtering many members of the black dragonflight who had come to Outland in order to aid the Horde of Draenor.
Gruul is the final boss of Gruul’s Lair in the Blade’s Edge Mountains. He drops Tier 4 Leggings tokens. He is the father of seven Gronn: Goc, Gorgrom the Dragon-Eater, Grulloc, Maggoc, Slaag, Skulloc Soulgrinder, and Durn the Hungerer. He has about 3,375,000 hit points (Patch 2.4.3), although with Patch 3.0.2 this has been reduced by 30%.
This boss is also part of (what used to be) the Serpentshrine Cavern attunement quest The Cudgel of Kar’desh. This quest requires two signets. One of which, the Earthen Signet, drops directly from Gruul. The other, the Blazing Signet, drops from Nightbane in Karazhan. Serpentshrine Cavern no longer requires attunement as of June 20, 2007.

Infinite Corruptor is a boss located deep within Stratholme. He is found corrupting a bronze dragonspawn during the Culling of Stratholme, leaving upon success. He’ll only drop Reins of the Bronze Drake besides the badges. This is a guaranteed drop.
Players seeking to battle him only have 25 minutes from the first Scourge wave to kill him; merely engaging him does not stop the timer. He is located in the Market Row which is located just past the gate leading to the Mal’Ganis encounter. He’s at the far end of the left side of the junction past the gate, while Mal’Ganis is on the right.
He is only present in heroic mode.

Located in the eastern part of Tanaris, the Caverns of Time contain various portals to different key time periods and events in Warcraft history. The caverns act as a crossroads for the various timelines, and through them one can travel back and forth along the ebb and flow of time. The Caverns of Time are home to the Brood of Nozdormu and the bronze dragonflight. It is their sacred charge to guard the caverns against the intrusion of mortals, whose interference would assuredly disrupt the flow of time. Recently, a mysterious force called the Infinite Dragonflight has begun to meddle with time. The bronze dragonflight is recruiting adventurers to make sure that the events that took place in the past remain as they were.
The Culling of Stratholme is one of the timeways (“wings”) accessible in the Caverns of
Time. It is centered around helping Prince Arthas purge the city of Stratholme from the grain-infected populace, and is one of the first acts in Arthas’ descent into madness and evil, eventually becoming one of the Lich King’s greatest death knights and later the Lich King himself.
Culling of Stratholme (CoS) is the name of the fourth Caverns of Time wing, released in World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King.
It is a 5-person, level 80 instance centered around helping Prince Arthas purge the city of Stratholme from the grain-infected populace. At the end of the instance players fight and defeat the Dreadlord Mal’Ganis.

Nightbane is a summonable raid boss in Karazhan. He is a fiery skeletal dragon, transformed by Medivh from Arcanagos and formerly of the blue dragonflight. While not the ruler of Karazhan, a position apparently held by Prince Malchezaar, many consider Nightbane to be the true final boss of the tower, due to his superior difficulty in the early days of the dungeon’s release. A raid member must have completed the Medivh’s Journal questline to summon the boss. This means Heroic Shattered Halls and Sethekk Halls must be partially completed in order to obtain the [Blackened Urn], which is used to summon Nightbane.

Onyxia is the current broodmother of the black dragonflight on Azeroth. After carefully calculating her plans for many years, she entered into a pact with her elder brother, Nefarian, to take over for their missing father and gain control of the entire flight. To this end, she has begun manipulating many mortals and dragons alike to her own ends and wields considerable political power over many groups

Onyxia’s Lair is a small cave system located in the southern parts of Dustwallow Marsh. It is home to Onyxia and her guards, the remaining members of the insidious Black Dragonflight. There also her brood of new eggs is hidden, awaiting maturation. Should anyone ever threaten Onyxia within her lair – within distance of her precious eggs – her wrath would be terrible beyond comprehension.
Patch 3.0.2: Since Lady Katrana Prestor is no longer in game, the attunement is lifted for both factions. As such, it is no longer necessary to have the Drakefire Amulet in your inventory to enter.
Patch 3.2.2: Onyxia’s Lair has been retuned for level 80 players because of World of Warcraft’s 5th birthday.
