Strand of the Ancients (originally called Sands of Ulduran, but sometimes spelled Sands of Alduran), is a battleground located off the southern coast of the Dragonblight. It may be synonymous with the Northern Islands, though this is speculation. It was introduced in Wrath of the Lich King. This battleground consists of 3 walls which have to be destroyed to continue, capture points and a graveyard after each wall. The overall goal is to be the faster team to break through the last wall and capture the relic inside.

Dragonblight
- Level Brackets
71-79, 80
- Maximum players per team

Alongside the Generals are their two Captains, Captain Galvangar and Captain Balinda Stonehearth, respectively. Intro
The tree Beast Mastery is pretty self explanatory. If you decide to go down this route you will be relying on your faithful companion to provide a large portion of your damage and utility. Having a strong additional damage source can be a great tactical advantage, but you must also be cautious because the loss of your pet can have devastating consequences due to the difficulty of trying to get it back into the fight while under pressure.
BM Hunters are classified as the easiest of the three hunter specs to play. This is likely because the talent tree does not provide many additional new abilities beyond Bestial Wrath and Intimidation. The complexity and depth of the class as a whole and the reliance on your pet give the spec more depth than at first glance. What makes the tree unique is that it does a good job of building upon itself without introducing new abilities. BM lacks the utility that the survival and marksman trees bring to the table, but makes up for that fact with the introduction of what I believe is the single most powerful PVP ability in the game. Bestial Wrath backed up with The Beast Within is more than a damage amplifier, it provides CC (crowd control) immunity for a long period of time. This in itself makes it invaluable in fighting most classes that disable and lock you down. BM gives you the best tools to PVP kite (keep an enemy at bay while on the move) like no other class or spec can.

Illidan Stormrage, known as the Betrayer, is the current Lord of Outland, ruling from the Black Temple. He was born as a night elf, and as stated by Maiev Shadowsong, is now “neither demon nor night elf, but something more”. He is the twin brother of Malfurion Stormrage, and was (perhaps still is) in love with Tyrande Whisperwind. Once an unusually gifted Sorcerer, his exact powers today are difficult to classify.
His pursuit of power and arcane mastery led him to commit a number of horrific acts against his own people and the races of Azeroth, including defecting to Sargeras during the War of the Ancients and creating the second Well of Eternity. For his actions, he was imprisoned for ten thousand years, until his release during the Third War. He came to be called the Betrayer for his acts against the night elf people and carried the title of Lord of Outland. Seeking to bring down her erstwhile prisoner, Maiev allied with Akama to invade the Black Temple, where she cornered Illidan in his inner sanctum and struck him down, bringing an end to one of the most tragic stories in Azeroth’s history.
He has come to be called the Betrayer for his acts against the night elf people and now also carries the title of Lord of Outland.

Cataclysm is the third expansion for World of Warcraft and is expected to launch later this year or early next year. Cataclysm is currently in beta testing, which means that we have some information about the changes we can expect to see, but everything we know is still in flux and could change without warning.
Hunter Changes
- More races can choose the hunter class: Human, Undead, Goblin and Worgen. (That’s everybody except Gnomes.)
- Ammunition has been removed from the game. Your bow, gun, or crossbow comes with its own implicit ammunition so you don’t have to buy any.
- Hunters no longer use mana; instead we use Focus just like our pets do.
- Hunter skills, spells, abilities and talents are changing in major ways. This is true for all classes; other than pet-related stuff we won’t be talking about that here.
Pet Changes
- Hunters enter the game at level 1 with a Starter Pet at their side.
- Hunters have access to 5 active pets with them in the field, although only one is out at a time. Stable Masters can also store up to 20 inactive pets in the Stable, for a total of 25 pets per hunter.
- Pets now auto-level to within 3 levels of the hunter if neccesary (instead of 5 levels).
- Vast changes to Kalimdor and the Eastern Kingdoms, plus a host of new Cataclysm zones, means new and changed pets everywhere.

Maiden of Virtue is a titan-like boss in the Guest Chambers wing of Karazhan. She is, ironically, being the Maiden of Virtue, put behind the rooms that are full of ladies of the night. It is unclear how this happened or who sent her. The Maiden is optional; it is not necessary to kill her in order to reach other bosses.
